Review Policy

All reviews posted to Book Den are my unbiased, personal opinion. Please note: Acceptance of a review copy does not guarantee a review will be published. Reviews posted to Book Den may also be posted to Goodreads, Amazon, or Smashwords.

REVIEW REQUESTS

These are the age levels and genres for which I am currently accepting review requests:

Juvenile: I am open to all picture book and early reader requests. These books will be spotlighted and/or reviewed as part of my Storybook Sunday feature.

Middle Grade: I am currently seeking middle grade books to review. Fantasy books are most likely to be accepted, but I am currently open to all MG requests.

Young Adult: I am only open to young adult books in the Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Thriller genres. YA books with darker themes will be considered. No romance or contemporary unless it also contains a large amount of SF/F/H.

Adult: I am accepting requests for Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Thrillers, and Contemporary books. No romance or historical fiction.

Print copies or ebooks in epub format are preferred, but other formats are acceptable.

All queries should be sent to bookdenblog(at)gmail(dot)com.

What I need from you: At a bare minimum please include the title, the author, a description, and the book cover (a link to the book online where I can see the book cover is sufficient).

Please be aware I read all requests that are submitted to me. Due to the sheer volume of emails, I am no longer able to respond to each individual request. If you do not receive a response, I have read your email but am unable to accept your request. I am the sole reviewer of Book Den, and I am only able to accept a very small number of review copies.

GIVEAWAYS

I am happy to host giveaways in the genres listed above.


BLOG TOURS

I am happy to consider publishing a guest post and/or hosting a giveaway as part of a blog tour. I will only post original guest posts that have not appeared on other blogs.

I am open to accepting a review copy, but I am unable to promise a review during the tour. Often I will post a review of the book during the same week I am scheduled to host a tour stop, but as a policy, I do not schedule reviews.

GUEST POSTS

I am currently not accepting guest posts that are not part of a blog tour.

INTERVIEWS

It is very unlikely I will accept requests for interviews at this time.
